In the presence of the general leadership of Syria’s democratic forces, today the meeting of the representatives of the Culture Authority on the Al_jazera and Northeast Syria,
Syria’s democratic forces and internal security forces to discuss a mechanism for protecting cultural property.
The meeting resulted in the formation of a tripartite committee in order to follow this file and had stressed everyone to:
- The commitment of Syria’s democratic forces with military instructions issued on 12/10/2020 and relating to the protection of cultural property
- Emphasize respect for international and local laws and conventions on the protection of cultural property.
3- emphasize the importance of cultural property in Syria and the need to work for preservation.
